Tony & Estelles' inaugural flight
Dave (does it upside down) Stone arranged to take Tony and Estelle (our hosts at the Southlands Hotel, Sheringham) flying from Cromer (Northrepps) airfield on 1st July 2003 at 10.30 am, to honour a promise he made to them when they were made honorary members of the 83rd Entry at our last reunion in April.
Members were invited to witness the event and "Jock the Peeps" turned up to send them off in style although you can see from the photos that Estelle was just a tad nervous! Was it the thought of flying with Dave or the wail of the peeps?
The weather was pretty good and having safely arrived back on terra firma Tony and Estelle (all smiles now!) were awarded their Certificate in appropriate fashion by Captain Dave (AA 681876).
